Torn in between the two!

Posted in 1 on September 20, 2009 by irepchristmovement

If someone who didn’t know you, saw you out, would the know that you were a believer? Does your life reflect that you’re a Christian? Would someone be totally shocked that you go to church? How consistant is your lifestyle with your verbal confession?

The trend seems to be, say you’re a Christian; but live a life that doesn’t match that. I do not intend to come off judgmental. I speak from experience. I’ve been the go to church every sunday; club every friday and saturday guy. I was very active in the church, yet very active in promiscuity, and alcohol. I was a fence straddler. My beliefs weren’t clear one way or the other. I’m sure I confused alot of people.

Rev 3:15-16 says: I know you inside and out, and little to my liking. You’re not cold, you’re not hot. Far better to be either cold or hot! You’re stale. You’re stagnant. You make me want to vomit (MSG)

Pick a side! This passage is saying if you’re going to be cold, freeze! if you’re going to be hot, set everything a blaze! Have you heard people say they are on fire for God? Have you ever watched Kobe Bryant or Lebron James score buckets and the announcer say they’re on fire? It’s the same thing. To be on fire is to be “on a roll” in your walk with God. Constantly growing and sharing, not living a hit then miss lifestyle. Have you ever seen someone play basketball for one quarter then switch to soccer for the remaining three? You’re lifestyle shouldn’t switch like that from sunday to monday. Don’t take side streets to where you’re going (Heaven or Hell) take the Highway. You should sell completely out to your beliefs. Because I believe in God, I completely sell out to His ways.

2 Corithians 6:14-17 says: Don’t make a partnership with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? Thats not a partnership, that war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the devil? Does trust and mistrust hold hands? Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God’s holy temple? But thats exactly what we are, each one of us a temple in whom God lives. God himself put it this way:

“I’ll live in them, move into them; I’ll be there God and they’ll be my people. So leave the corruption and compromise; leave it for good”, says God. “Don’t link up with those who will pollute you, I want you all to myself”  (MSG)

Verse 17 calls for you to separate yourself from those who live a life in darkness. Once you accept Jesus and become saved a common misconception is that your mind is saved. You’re spirit is saved yes; but as for your mind, that needs to be renewed. Prior to being saved we learn the ways of the world culture. We adapt to the culture of our surrondings.

Romans 12:2 says: Don’t be come so well adjusted to the culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to it’s level of immaturity. God brings out the best in you, develops well formed maturity in you. (MSG)

We must renew our mind to the way we were originally intended to think. Our thoughts and actions should line up with the ways of Christ, if you claim to “Rep Christ”. We must strip ourselves of the filth of our previous thinking.

James 1:21-21 says:Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (NIV)

Standing in a garage yelling “honk!” doesn’t make you a car; just as going to church doesn’t make you a Christian. Pouring water on your lips doesn’t quench your thirst. You have to open your mouth and drink, just as you have to let the word of God get inside of you so that it can grow in your life. I encourage you to read Colossians 3.

Colossians 3:5-10 says:

And that means killing off everything connected with that way of death: sexual promiscuity, impurity, lust, doing whatever you feel like whenever you feel like it, and grabbing whatever attracts your fancy. That’s a life shaped by things and feelings instead of by God. It’s because of this kind of thing that God is about to explode in anger. It wasn’t long ago that you were doing all that stuff and not knowing any better. But you know better now, so make sure it’s all gone for good: bad temper, irritability, meanness, profanity, dirty talk.

Don’t lie to one another. You’re done with that old life. It’s like a filthy set of ill-fitting clothes you’ve stripped off and put in the fire. Now you’re dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete.

I encourage you to make a firm choice today and go all out. Go hard or go home! Give your whole self to God. Continue to renew your mind, and GET ON FIRE! No more stale living! Live the way you were intended to live!

Joshua 24:15 says:  ”If you decide that it’s a bad thing to worship God, then choose a god you’d rather serve—and do it today. Choose one of the gods your ancestors worshiped from the country beyond The River, or one of the gods of the Amorites, on whose land you’re now living. As for me and my family, we’ll worship God.” (MSG)

If you “REP CHRIST” CHECK THE FIRE WE HAVE AND LETS CHANGE THE WORLD!

The Best Man

Posted in 1 on September 9, 2009 by irepchristmovement

                 So we talked about women and how we become the best, in the blog entitled “The Best Girl”.  Now it’s time to talk about the men.  How to be the “Best Man”.  Women have a perfect example in the Bible to follow in Proverbs 31;  but is there a Proverbs 32 for men?? No.. lol.  Who is a good man in the Bible for the men to mimic?  There are MANY great men of God in the Bible that men today can follow after, but I couldn’t think of anyone better to imitate than.. Jesus.  You may be thinking, “Duh, Adrienne.  Everyone knows we are suppose to imitate Jesus.”  But let’s go deeper into Jesus’ life, His character, and who He was as a man.  His life and character is the perfect example for young men to follow.  After all, Jesus was young while He walked the earth.  He never lived to be 80 years old.  He didn’t even live to be 40.  He died at the age of 33.  So, to all the men under 33, He was your age once,  and He was tempted at all points.  (Hebrews 4:15)

               Jesus was raised under Jewish customs, so we know He was reading scripture at a very young age.  When He was young He wandered off from His parents and 3 days later they found Him in the synagogue talking with the scholars who were amazed at what He knew.  So, the first thing I want to show you about the life of Jesus is that He was always wise for His age.  Even when He grew older, He talked to married people about the rules of marriage and divorce having never been married.  He HAD to have been in constant communication with God.  Before Jesus went into full-time Ministry, He worked a temporary job with His earthly father, Joseph as a Woodworker or Carpenter (a person who builds, makes or repairs wooden objects or structures – as in houses, scaffolds, or shelving). His father Joseph was hardly mentioned or talked about during Jesus’ 3 years of Ministry, and it is said that His father was not around much during that time.  So not having a father around is no excuse.  You can still succeed.  Jesus was extremely close with His Heavenly Father.

 Let’s look at some other characteristics of Jesus:

1.  He studied.  We know that by the rebuttals He gave to the devil when the devil tempted Him in the wilderness.  We also know this from when He got up to read in the synagogue and looked up a specific scripture in Isaiah to read to the people.

2. He stayed in constant communication with God, and withdrew from the people around Him often to be alone with God.

3.  He always stepped out of the box and did things that many people sneered at.

4.  He didn’t flirt with the women that followed His Ministry.

5.  He was determined to fulfill His purpose and He never gave up.

6.  He didn’t let satan distract Him or get Him off course.

7.  Often, people accused Him and lied on Him, but He didn’t get offended or let those people distract Him.

8.  He walked and spoke with confidence, He did not have low self-esteem.  He was confident in God, and it came out in the way He walked and talked.  <MAAAAAAAJOR SWAGGER> haha.  He knew who He was.

9.  He put all His energy into what He was called to do.  And He had a genuine love for the people.

10.  He wanted the will of God to be fulfilled more than anything else; over His own will.

11.  He was so humble that He was willing to die if He needed to, and He did.

                          Young men all over the world… This is Jesus Christ.

           These are some attributes and characteristics of Jesus.  Apply them to your life  and in turn God will be preparing you to be the BEST man for your bride. Not only will you be the BEST man for your bride, you will be the BEST man in life, with all of your endeavors and fulfilling the plan that God has for your life.  I know you want to be successful, and God wants you to be successful.  As a matter of fact, He NEEDS you to be successful to help with the growth and expansion of the Kingdom.  But it is only through relationship with God and constant communication with the Holy Spirit that one will find true success and true happiness.

The parable of the Mercury Tracer

Posted in 1 on August 20, 2009 by irepchristmovement

1997.mercury.tracer.7634-300x189.jpgSo all week I’ve been hearing God speak to me about running a tight ship, not being sloppy, and being more discipline. I’ve been meditating on it all week and saying it to my friends. Well today God gave me a visual illustration, a modern day parable.

I’ve been saying to myself that I want to purchase a new car by the end of this year. See I drive a Mercury Tracer that my mother gave me after I wrecked my last car (Man I miss that car her name was Brianna…ok ok back on subject). My Mercury Tracer is a small little compact car. Not exactly a magnet to the ladies, it’s basically a point A to B car. Well while some friends were over today I thought about what God had been saying to me about being sloppy, and for some reason the biggest image in my head was my car. Ok, I’ll be honest, I tend to treat my vehicle like a ex-girlfriend that I don’t like very much. I let all kinds of junk pile up in it. I drive it like its a go-kart, and I can be a little lazy when wear and tear maintenance is concerned. I felt the sudden urge to get up and clean it out. So I pulled it up in my drive way and started cleaning. What was initially going to be a small trash throw away turned into a detail cleaning. Here’s why. My friend Theo started to help me and i had a “ah ha!” moment.

God spoke to me clearly saying, how can I give you a new vehicle when you treat this one like junk.? Then the word “Stewardship” echoed in my mind. How can God share blessing with us if we aren’t good stewards of our current possessions. I thought about how I treat things that seem nicer to me. I’m delicate. I pay attention to detail. I’m see to be a lot more grateful. I shared what I was getting with Theo and he goes “Sometimes you gotta get the junk out” referring to the mess in the car; but we can see ourselves like that. Sometimes we have to get all the junk out of us. We focus so much on outer appearance and what it looks like that we neglect what really counts the inside. It’s the inside where all the important functions of the car take place. So what I’m saying is be a good steward over what you have so you can be trusted to take care of what He wants to bless you with.  Would I junk up a BMW? So why would I do it to my Mercury Tracer.

Another thing that made my cleaning successful is a i had a friend to help me. Theo seen stuff to get rid of that I didnt see myself. It’s good to have someone who can help you get rid of the things you over look.

I’ll leave you like this. What are you treating like I was treating my Mercury Tracer? What has God given you that you have neglected? What areas of your life need some detail cleaning? Make the steps today to get rid of the filth and grime build up in your life. Treat everything you have like it’s the greatest thing on Earth. Because after all it is the best you have, right now at least

Pray that blessed you like it did me.

Your Boy,

The Best Girl ♥

Posted in Uplifting Messages on July 28, 2009 by irepchristmovement

Out of all the women we know, the Christian girl should be the BEST girl.

There are many women out there that cheat, lie, and deceive.   But we are different.. we are the best girls in the world!!!!!!!  Ladies, as women of God, we ought to be the best women that walk on this planet!  We are the daughters of the King.  We stand out!  And, single ladies,  since we are the best, we will attract the best man!

The best girl in the Bible was the Proverbs 31 woman..she had it all together, her husband was so proud to be her man.  He knew she was the BEST.  Whether you are married or single, you need to study Proverbs 31 and learn how you can be the best wife or future wife, you can ever be!  Single ladies, let’s get on our game so that we will attract the BEST man.  We are to uplift our man, encourage him, support him in fulfilling his God-given destiny, pray for him, follow him as he follows God, not try to walk in front of him, and YES..hold him down.

Further down in this blog you will see Proverbs 31:10-31.  Notice: Out of all the great things about the Proverbs 31 woman.. there were also a lot of things she is not.. she is not bitter, prideful, selfish, controlling, irritable, she does not nag, she doesn’t tear down her man, she doesn’t lie or cheat.

Proverbs 25:24  Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

Proverbs 27:15 A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day;

Proverbs 21:19 Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.

Ladies, out of  your relationship with God and loving yourself, you will grow to be the best woman you could ever be for your husband or future husband.  By spending time with God everyday, He will train you and mold you to be the BEST.  God will build your character and develop you into the woman you need to be for your husband or future husband.

Proverbs 31:10-31

10c A wife of noble character who can find?

She is worth far more than rubies.

11Her husband has full confidence in her

and lacks nothing of value.

12She brings him good, not harm,

all the days of her life.

13She selects wool and flax

and works with eager hands.

14She is like the merchant ships,

bringing her food from afar.

15She gets up while it is still dark;

she provides food for her family

and portions for her servant girls.

16She considers a field and buys it;

out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

17She sets about her work vigorously;

her arms are strong for her tasks.

18She sees that her trading is profitable,

and her lamp does not go out at night.

19In her hand she holds the distaff

and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

20She opens her arms to the poor

and extends her hands to the needy.

21When it snows, she has no fear for her household;

for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

22She makes coverings for her bed;

she is clothed in fine linen and purple.

23Her husband is respected at the city gate,

where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

24She makes linen garments and sells them,

and supplies the merchants with sashes.

25She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come.

26She speaks with wisdom,

and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

27She watches over the affairs of her household

and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28Her children arise and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praises her:

29“Many women do noble things,

but you surpass them all.”

30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;

but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

31Give her the reward she has earned,

and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

We are the best girls in the world!!!! Let’s Get It!!!!!!!!!!

Make it to the tree…

Posted in 1 on July 24, 2009 by irepchristmovement

So I’ve been dealing with somethings and I requested prayer from my friends on  a facebook status. My cousin Stephanie messaged me a reminder of something our grandmother taught us 9 years ago before her passing. The story goes like this….

Back in 2000 my grandmother suffered a stroke and congested heart failure all in a matter of months. In result her life took a drastic turn. The zealous, energetic, often feisty woman slowed down tremendously because of her health. I lived with my grandmother at the time and one day she decided she wasn’t going to let her sickness keep her cooped up in the house. So she called for me to help her go and sit on the porch. So we went outside Granny, my cousin Larry and Me. We talked until we were tired of listening. My best friend Mikie lived down the street and he was calling for me to come down to his house and kick it; but right before I left granny decided to change my plans. I didnt know it at the time but this would be one of the most memorable life lessons I ever learned.

My granny was sick of being stationary and wanted to go for a walk. Granny where are you going your on a walker and your hooked up to these tubes. She completely ignored those circumstances and set out for her walk. With my cousin Larry and Me on her side we walked about a 1/4 of a way up the block. We were approaching this pole and we just knew thats where she would use to turn around. As we get to the pole I go “ready to turn around” “NO!” she answered. “I gotta make it to the tree” she replied. See there was this big oak tree that she had set her sights on. “Granny your going to tire yourself out” “You’re going to be sore all day” “Don’t hurt yourself” we said to her. “I gotta make it to the tree” she strongly replied. So my cousin Larry and I watched in amazement as she made it to the tree despite all of her health circumstances. SHE MADE IT.

My grandmother passed away about a week after that and it wasn’t until after that that I really understood what I learned that day. Despite the circumstance KEEP GOING. No Matter what it looks like YOU CAN MAKE IT. No matter how tired you get GO THE DISTANCE.

When you have your sights set on a goal don’t quit until you get there. YOU CAN MAKE IT

Love yall,

Chris Brown….too late for apologies?

Posted in Entertainment on July 21, 2009 by irepchristmovement

In Feburary R&B sensation Chris Brown got into a physical altercation with his then girlfriend pop star Rihanna. Since the incident many allegations have come forth. Many peoples views have been expressed but until today (July 20) we the public hadn’t heard anything from Chris. In a video on the MTV News website. Chris makes a formal public apology to Rihanna and his many fans. Chris says things like “What I did was unexcusable” and “I’ve done alot of soul searching” and how he’s apologized privately to Rihanna countless times; and ask for your forgiveness. He speaks about how he would like to live a life worthy of the term “Role Model”

Is it to late? It’s now July. Many radio stations have pulled his music from there rotation. Endorsements have been lost etc…

How do you feel about this issue from the Christians point of view? In the 2 minute video spoke of his seeking mentorship from his “spiritual leaders”

Make Something Happen

Posted in 1 on July 8, 2009 by irepchristmovement

Wondering why certain things haven’t come to manifest in your life? Believing God for somethings and cant seem to see any progress? Well what have you done about it? Have you been diligent? have you sown? Have you completely exercised your faith? Or are you waiting for God to perform a magic trick? If you pay attention to the MIRACLES that Jesus performed there was faith, action and obedience in the picture. I’m challenging you to WORK your FAITH. God has giving you power to make things happen Exercise it!. The more you work toward what it is you want God will link up with you and then manifestation can happen. If you never work, it wont! Get off your hind parts  you sluggard and get to action…lol  Just a quick thought for the day.  NOW MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN

James 2:20 (Amplified Bible)

20Are you willing to be shown [proof], you foolish (unproductive, spiritually deficient) fellow, that faith apart from [good] works is inactive and ineffective and worthless?

Diligence is a zealous and careful nature in one’s actions and work. Decisive work ethic. Budgeting one’s time; monitoring one’s own activities to guard against laziness. Putting forth full concentration in one’s work. Diligence is usually promoted in work places. It is one of the seven Holy Virtues.

Hebrews 4:14-16

14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,e Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Call on God when you’re being tempted!!  God can help you out.  You have a God that sympathizes with you and loves you.  He doesn’t want to see you fall.  Call on Him to help you.  He expects you to call on His help.

BET Awards…. what did you think??

Man……. So much was going through my mind  while I was watching the BET Awards.  The entire time I was on Facebook reading everyone’s comments, crackin up laughing, and also making my own comments.  I went through so many emotions and moods throughout the whole show:  There were lots of hilarious parts so I was laughing all night,  I was sad about Michael, disgusted at some of the things that were said and some of the performances, hurt that little girls were on stage dancing to Wayne’s song, happy that my girl Monica did a quick come back (lol),  irritated that Jay-Z calls himself Hova, being that there is only one Jehova, elated that Mary Mary went up and represented, and inspired to get the gospel out by any means necessary!!!!!!!!

Watching the show inspired me to show the love of God to the world, to make Jesus popular, and to shine with my fashion.  It reminded me of how much God needs YOU to get this gospel out, to be yourself and represent Him.  God needs YOU!!  Show the world how you can still love life without being vulgar, fornicating, degrading genders, and dressing inappropriate.  Let’s stand out!  Let’s be noticed! Let’s take more gospel music to the award shows, sit on the front row and shine like new stars!!!!!!!! Let’s get it already!  It’s about time that we light up the world.  If the BET Awards had an award for best dressed; it should go to the Christians!!  Let’s get it!!!

When I turned off the TV I couldn’t stop singing.. “Jesus you the you the BEST”                    LOL

Give your life to the King. Help me make Jesus popular.

Cry Aloud! Isaiah 58:1

Posted in 1 on June 27, 2009 by irepchristmovement

In a time where the WORLD seems to be running rampid. Sin is more acceptable today than ever before and the Christian voice is almost non-existant I feel the Holy Spirit pushing our ministry to be that VOICE. A Voice for a dying generation not only physically but more importantly spiritually; God is calling us to lead. No longer as Christians should we play the backseat but we should take our rightful place.

There are things that are happening on a daily that are displeasing to God, but whose taking a stand? I was meditating on that in my prayer time and God showed me that I dont have to wait but I can charge my generation to live a HOLY LIFE. I have a Christian artist that I really like name Mali Music. Cry Aloud-Mali Music He’s a amazing upcoming artist with a song that charges me everytime I hear it called “Cry Aloud”. The song really ministers to me it really addresses alot of issues that go unmentioned. The song is based around the scripture I feel led to deal with in this blog.

Isaiah 58:1 says:

1CRY ALOUD, spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgression and to the house of Jacob their sins!

I ask you what do you stand for? What do you let slide? What do you think is ok? What do you let go because it’s not your business? We’re in a time where we need to stand up and be God’s Voice on earth. How many states have to recognize same sex marraige before we say something? How many believers have to contract AIDS before we address the spirit of Homosexuality in our communities? How many young girls need to get pregnant before we address the accepted vulgarity/perversion in the media? Do you not realize that the longer we allow such acts the worse of our communities will be?

Ephesians 6:11 says:

11Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

We must guard our spirits with the armour which God supplies in the 6 chapter of Ephesians; but this particular passage calls us to stand against the strategies of the devil. Yes its cool that you dont smoke, you dont drink. Great, you dont club or have pre-marital sex. Im happy, your not a homosexual, or a lesbian. My question is do you condone it?

 Ephesians 6:12 says:

   12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

We arent dealing with “people” we are dealing with the spirits we’ve attacthed to the natural man. If the devil could he would force you to sin. He can only suggest it. You have a will that makes the decision not to. Take Joseph for instance. In Genesis 39 when the wife of Josephs master was tempting him to lye with her she could only suggest sin aggresively she couldnt make him. verse 12 says:

12And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me! But he left his garment in her hand and fled and got out [of the house].

The revelation I recieved in reading this is when sin attempted to attach itself Joseph shook sin left it in her hands and fled. The enemy can’t touch you but he can grab hold to the things attached to you. I ask are there some things you need to shake and flee from? Not just people out talking about everything that hinders you from living a HOLY and CLEAN LIFE. This is a Move of God that will require boldness and courage. It wont always be popular with your friends and family that are completly on board but whose more important no more excuses live the life people. God needs us to go before the who so evers and say what needs to be said.

Matthew 10: 18-19 says:

18And you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a witness to bear testimony before them and to the Gentiles (the nations).

    19But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious about how or what you are to speak; for what you are to say will be given you in that very hour and [f]moment,

When the word is in you God will always have the right words to pull out of you at the appointed time. Thats why daily meditation on the Word of Faith is a basic neccessity.

I love the story of David and Goliath because of David’s boldness. When the other men in the camp were scarred David in 1 Sam 17:26 he address them and says:

26And David said to the men standing by him, What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?

My question is who are the authorities in this situation? God gave us dominion over every living and breathing thing. Quite simply put, We run this! So why dont we act like it? What are you afraid of? God has our back!

Isaiah 59:19 says:

19So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].(A)

Lives depend on your commitment to the work of the Kingdom. How many of your family members will you let go to hell because you were afraid to address the sin on there lives? We are being called to change and lead a generation. We must make the firm decision to stand for HOLLINESS. Don’t let the Swag fool you We LIVE HOLY lives. God needs us. I will leave you with the same charge that Paul left Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:1-5:

1I CHARGE [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by (in the light of) His coming and His kingdom:

    2Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.

    3For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold,

    4And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions.

    5As for you, be calm and cool and steady, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform all the duties of your ministry.
